They called my wife, with kids in the car, demanding she call him only via cell phone, goes to a local "garment store" or walmart, and pay the amount she owes with a google play card in $500 increments. He threatened her with up to 5 years in prison, and wouldn't let her talk to me even though we filed jointly and I was standing right there. It took me a half hour to talk her down after this; I want to reach through the airwaves and kickbox his tonsils!
Claims to be Treasury Dept threatening criminal charges.
Was just contacted and told it was a second attempt to reach me by the IRS and I was being indicted for a federal offense
Scam call from "IRS".
Caller left an automated voice message claiming to be the IRS, insisting I call back before the matter is taken before a magistrate.
Oh, silly con artists, din’t You know we don’t refer to judges as magistrates in the United States?
