They leave an urgent message for you to call back, then claim to be the IRS. They are not. This is a scam and should be reported to the Treasury Department at https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml

Automated voice claims IRS is filing a lawsuit against "me" and orders me to call a number right away. This has been identified as a scam by the IRS, they do not use automated phone calls to contact people who have outstanding tax debts.

claimed to be IRS. IRS would not call and use an automated machine to deliver a message. I received like 3 calls from this number over the past few days saying the IRS was suing me. TOTAL SCAM. do not call back.
