The male voice at the robocall voice message (13 May 2016, 11:50 a.m. EST) identified himself as with the "Internal Revenue Services" (curious plural form). The message left the same tax-fraud scare threat as the others noted at this webpage.
I received a call from this number yesterday and stated that I was being charged with tax fraud and would be arrested. The message was kinda of garble but the number was 202-567-7680
I received a call from this number as well. They claimed that I would be arrested if I didn't call them back. I called back. I couldn't understand the person on the other end. His English was very poor and I questioned him about this he claimed that I was the one who didn't understand English. He kept asking me to spell my name and give him my D.O.B. If I'm going to be arrested wouldn't they know that information already! He said my court case was already in court in Washington DC and he couldn't access that information. I told him that I didn't give personal info over the phone. Then I told him good bye.
They left a message to call them before I get arrested. I blocked the number.
This is the second time I've been called about this exact same thing. Telling me there's tax fraud against me and I need to call before I get arrested. Apparently this is a scam. This time the number was unknown until they left a call back number.
