I work at the largest department store that provides "money grams" for customers. These spammers are claiming to be IRS and asking people to send a money gram or else... We will not send a money gram to anyone claiming to be IRS. IRS WILL ALWAYS SEND YOU A LETTER NEVER A PHONE CALL.
I answer the phone calls at my store and will often get calls to verify if so & so sent a money gram. 1st we will not provide that information to anyone due to privacy laws. 2nd. we will ask that caller to please come to the store to receive it and instead be met by security and police.

I received a call today as well claiming the IRS was filing lawsuit. I'm 100% sure it's a scam
