They claim to be calling from Amazon Associates program. I called the lady a liar and scam artist and hung up then immediately called Amazon and told them if this ties back to them they've lost a loyal customer and if not they should probably tackle this issue before a whole bunch of angry customers become ex customers. I would suggest everyone call Amazon (866-216-1072)
This is a scam call pretending to be Amazon.com calling you about their associate program. They are offering to join their associate program for $299 which is a "special" and if you don't sign up today then the price may go up to $499. Don't sign up, they are not associated with Amazon. The Amazon Associate program does exist on Amazon's website, however it is totally free to join. You must sign up for a website domain name. Also this other company claims that you will receive 15% in commission for all sales plus residual income... that's a lie also. Amazon's program offers less than that. These people are trying to pressure innocent people into giving them your credit card information so they can scam you into buying a website that will never produce search engine results.
