Dude wanted money, I was in a generous mood but very busy, I gave him my email address and I have not received an email from him. He asked me twice if I would hold to my word after I already told him I would give him $35. I looked for their website and if I had found anything credible and non-partisan I had intended to follow through.
Call from Paul on behalf of United American Veterans. Very mellow voice, professional sounding. I interrupted him in midsentence and said I couldn't help at this time, and hung up. There is such an organization, per Bing search, but it's apparently located in New England (Mass.). CID only showed phone number and "Seattle, WA."
First call, one ring second call was to my cell number, which is not associated with my landline which I didn't answer then they called my landline a second time, one ring.
Guy with great Radio type voice, asking for $ for Veterans for medical items not covered by the VA. $20, can they count on my support. I always say "If I check you out and you are legit, of course" He repeats so I can count on your support? I repeat "If I check you out and you are legit, of course". He finally answers, "well, have a good rest of your day". I guess they're NOT legit. haha
Its a robocaller. Caller hangs up if you don't answer on first ring. Never leaves a message. Attempting to find out what numbers are good for list compiling, is my guess.
