Received robotic voice message from this number claiming to be Mark Brown from the State Attorney General office. Claims there is a Law Suit against me and I or my Attorney needed to contact him immediately or next they would be contacting my place of employment or my family members. Caller ID listed Seattle Washington. Have received this call in the past but I never called back.

received a call from this number, they left vm that he was Mark Brown etc, I called the number back and they told me I owe 500 for a payday loan to "Cash Advance America". When I responded that I have never heard of this at all before, he got upset and started calling out an address, I told him that it was not my address. He got even more upset and said that they will be mailing out something to my address and someone would contact me and then he hung up on me. So yes this is a scam, because if I truly owed a debt they would have tried to keep me on the phone and convinced me to pay or given me payment options. They quickly moved on when they realized I wasn't falling for this bs.

I got the same call from a Mark Brown. He was threatening me stating he will serve me within an hour if I don't pay up on and ask me what my intentions are. I asked him where was this payday loan and what year. He said 2013 and The payday loan didn't sound familiar with me and it was in a city I don't live in, etc. The more I keep asking, he got more aggravated. Something didn't sit well with me and I called the number again to see of I got a different person and it sounded like the same guy Mark Brown and he posed as a Dave. I knew something was fishy. Usually a debt collector would have multiple collection agents or state they were on a recorded line etc. I got scared and said I will pay up later. I've been calls from various of state and I kept blocking them and they seem I never go away. Some of them text messages me and I never reply or call them back. After researching, now I'm more confident this is a scam! Please be aware! If he's going to serve me then so be it. I rather not get scammed!

I got the same call, but it was a Mark Brown. With the same statement as above. This bull shit needs to end!!!!!
