Are these scammers getting phone numbers off the online tax services

They called me as well and it's not the first time. Many of us are smart to know that any issues with the IRS will call for some heavy official notice but being that the IRS and issues regarding such matters can be such a burden and a bit frightening it's something that I'm sure many people probably think can be real or needs their immediate attention. This caller is a scammer. Please be advised. Don't fall into pressures or doubts of calling. Hope you're all scam free!!

I certainly am aware of my status and so I immediately took this as a mistakenly dial. It was auto bot informing of a final warning due to an IRS lawsuit, bah!

They called me same thing I got freaked for a second then looked up the number and found this . Law suit from irs or something .

Called me with the same recording... "IRS is taking suing you. Final notice, etc." When I called the line was busy, haha.

First call at 9 am was ignored and 2nd call left a message to call this number back immediately for more information on your open case file.....

They called and said it was some officer watson. And I was being sued by the irs for not paying my back taxes when i told them I haven't received any noticed he said tht he left a yellow post on my door and he came to my house personally when I told him tht i will call my tax service to confirm he said he will sent a officer with my arrest warrant wen I called my accountant he said nothing. Was wrong with my taxes and their is no way irs would call me ... Definitely scam

This number called many times a day. So I answered it. It was a recording that said that the irs was taking me to court if I didn't call them back. I called told him that I knew he was not an irs employee. He said he was officer so and so didn't catch the name. I said that he was a scammer and not call me again. He told me to goF*** myself. Sounds like the irs needes to teach their employees manners! Wish someone could stop these people!

They just say their number and that's it. Nothing else. Don't recognize their number. Won't answer it.
