Cal show from Seattle Washington. An India speaking man explained he was from Microsoft and my computer and phone had errors that were being reported to them. I played along, getting as much information as I could to pass it along to others. He walked me through opening event viewer and showed me what errors were the “problem”. Right before he wanted me to install software to “clean my system”, I dropped the scam on him and told him of my career in IT for three decades. He was not happy and insisted this was Microsoft. Having dealt with them directly for many years, I knew this not to be the case. After a few moments of him insisting he was Microsoft and I wasn’t what I said I was this MF then threatened me. I guess he wasn’t happy he didn’t meet his quota that day.

Something about a program to reduce my electricity bills.

Did any of you by any chance, download an App that gives you points for downloading other Apps? and through them, gave out your phone number trying to sign up for an App? My suspicion is this is how these people are getting your phone number.

They called me and told me that the federal government (IRS) is investigating me and that there is a warrant out there for my arrest. I actually do work for the federal government and there is no warrant for my arrest.... They are just trying to scare you to get your info and money...They use the following phone numbers: 206-777-1088 and 904-404-2641. Do not give them any info! Just reported them to IRS! Please report them at https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml if they call you!

Claimed that the IRS was ready to file a claim against me.

They called me today and now they are onto trying to get donations for patients who are being treated for breast cancer. When I told them "no thanks," they got very aggressive.

Received a call from 206-777-1088 this afternoon on my cell phone. The caller left the following message:
“Notice from IRS Internal Revenue Services:
The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 505-349-5808. I repeat 505-349-5808. Thank you.”

Selling low cost insurance.

This company continues to call even though I have told them again and again and again to stop calling. Each time they tell me they will put me on the Do Not Call list. I have blocked several phone numbers. They continue to call on different phone lines.

Called me today and I picked up . A man with an American accent picked up he started making odd noises and used profanity. If he calls again I will call the police on him!

Caller ID showed Washington.

Did not leave message.

Scammer and wants to fix my computer. Got into argument and was very mean and abusive. Block and don't be scammed.
