Called to say I had won FREE gift up to $160 which included $100 gas card $50 Walmart card $ 10 cash....I just needed to pay 2.00 today and be billed for all other services of 2$ monthy. I had quickly noyiced all the complaints as I was filling out the forms and gave a dummy credit card which caused the phone call to end! Now I known why none of my questions were able to be answered correctly.BA

Wake network call sounded totally automated. It was like a chat bot! Very spooky and irritating. They wanted a visa card to charge a processing fee for a free 100.00 gift card. NOT!

Looks like they irritate you as much as they do me. I've been reading other complaint blogsites and many of them are flooded with complaints about this company. I did a little poking around of my own and discovered that Waka is a subsidiary of a Philippine based company called Ascend Asia. I was astonished to find that employees of the company have also posted online complaints about the owners - apparently the guy doesn't pay them, fires them on whim and has actually had several of his businesses raided by the Philippine authorities. Even his employees called the business a scam. In fact, he restarted the company with the Ascend name after his first company was raided and dissolved for labor violations. The guy's name is Matt Bagley and his wife Jeanette runs the company with him. Apparently this Bagley scumbag is an expatriate that is forced to live abroad because of his fraudulent business practices - that's right, he apparantely isn't allowed back in the US. This probably explains the cloak-and-dagger hiding. Also did a search on the Las Vegas corporate office address, it's not even real. It's one of those virtual office locations. What is interesting though is the Des Plains address is actually the same address for a pharmacy called Easy Scripts. I'm having my nephew check it out since he lives in the area. Will post my findings then.

i doubt that your just a concern citizen or even a complainant who complaints about the wakanetwork i think your an employee before of ascend asia because you all know bout this company and your just doing dis because of revenge or sumthing i pity you for doing that...are you bitter with the said company..ahahahaha...dont make me stupid...your a filipino too right? ahahaha... GOTCHA!

They just telephoned here. She was unable to answer my "human verification" answer of "how's the weather there". The answer of "hold on" was not acceptable. If she needed to go look at the weather to answer that basic "human" chat question, then she needed to get lost on her way back to a phone call with me.

Waka network engages in illegal sales practices and fraudulent schemes. According to BBB.com the president's name is Kendra Marcoux. Waka employees refused to provide this name when asked. Get a real job Kendra Marcoux. Then you won't have to tell your 2 CSRs not to give out your name. Legitimate business people are proud to put their names behind their products. Pathetic criminals hide behind their employees and keep changing the company name.

That information is FALSE considering the fact that at least 86 people have tried and waka never gave them there money back so the so called company has stolen about 8 thousand dollors from those people.

Description: AVATAR - you're talking to a pre recorded voice of a girl which is controlled by a multi users (Call Centers) that's the reason why she doesn't answer the question which is not on her data... try to ask something that even a 4 year old girl can answer... the problem is.. the person in the other line just listen to your call.. and push the button on the keyboard in which every key has a corresponding sentence to utter. One more thing It will not stop calling you if you just HANG UP, or shout to them or any other thing... you should have your number on the DONT CALL LIST... There are a lot of this kind but not all are scam and the product or service they provide is real... so its up to you... 1 thing Im not sure... I think someone or agency is giving your contact information as a source... coz even though they are asking about your information like your name addrss and something.. . they dont actually type it... they are confirming if the information in their data is correct....

Have been getting phone calls from this waca thing from weeks now. latest one was from phone number (206) 633-8731. I think the persons name was Sylvia. About some survey I filled out on line but I never did. I have told them multiple times to stop calling but they still do.

Called the number back and got a recorded message saying to call local telephone company because number is not activate and being used by a third party out of their control.

The consumer Googled the company and believes this is Waka Network, Inc. The consumer spoke with the Waka and she does appear on the company calling network. Waka is also the name provided by employees during their greeting.
