The IRS would send a letter. No emails no phone calls. This is a scam

Typically when I get out of state calls they never leave a message. This time they did, so I called the number from my work phone. An indian guy answered saying it was the IRS so I laughed and hung up.

Yup, same here. Indian guy with the name Mike Adams... Red flag right there. My main reason to call back was to tell them to stop calling me. So yeah, total scam.
