I called them the other day to request a refund for not accepting a gift card. The refund was issued so they had no reason to call 7 times in less than an hour. If they did, they could have left a message and didn't. There are no outstanding balances or orders with them. They were also calling before the allowed time according to the law.

Asjed on Amazon site to have Kindle/Fire customer support call me. This is the number they called from, May 2015. You have to log in using password to request support, and they call the number on file, so it's fairly hard for a "friend" to get them to call.

People using internet phones (VOIP) can specify what number gets reported bu caller ID, so it's always important not to reveal confidential info unless you've requested a callback or you initiated the call to a known-good number such as 1-800-medicare.

theres no actual person to talk to, to make them stop. I find the messages offensive.
