I got this same call.
For yucks, I pressed 1.
"Brent" answered the line.
I went along with his spiel for a few minutes.
He kept asking me questions.
Finally, I asked him who he was and what company he worked for.
I said that he sounds like a scammer.
He said "you pressed 1, I did not call you, an automated system did."
And then he hung up.

With the increase in internet and credit card phone scammers it is best not to answer calls from numbers you know from prior experience to be scammers like "Rachel."

I usually don't answer these calls but I answered today and it was Rachel with credit card services wanting to lower my interest rate on my credit card I said not on my credit card. I said not mind because I don't own a credit card!!! I told her to stop calling this number because I knew where she was located and if I had to come knocking on her door she wouldn't be calling ant number again. She said No you don't know where I am located and slam the phone down. I have received calls every week for a long time from the same number received two yesterday but did not answer the phone. I wish these people would leave us alone. The caller ID showed up Richard Hodge located in Island Park, ID.
