Did not answer. I called it back and said it was Magic Jack and it was a number that has not been asighned to someone yet

Trying to get sensitive information from people or also try to get you to wire money to their bank account for home improvement services they say you want.

Just got a call from this number (1:05pm CST) I didn't answer because I don't know the number........ Left me a 2 minutes voice mail that had NOTHING.... just background noise. I'm also on the DNC list.........

9/17/2012 @ 6:59pm Out of Area listed on the caller ID. I am so sick of these calls. I answered this one ready to give them what for, why are they calling when I'm on the DO Not Call List. The person answered me in another language. So, I asked do you speak English. Yes I speak English. Then he continued to speak in his language. I hung up.

Every time they call, I answer but put my phone next to my iPad speaker with the angry birds app sounds blasting :) Not sure who they are, but the dude gets pissed and I can't tell what he's saying because his accent is so thick. Clearly a scam of some sort.

The caller was a woman with a HEAVY foreign accent who wanted to talk to me about a roofing job. I asked her where she got my name, address and phone number. She didn't answer. She kept asking me when would be a good time for her to call me later. I said never and hung up. Note: the call came only a few days after I searched Angie's List for roofers in my area. That "coincidence" makes me want to avoid Angie's List. But Angie's List has evidently already shared my personal info, so I guess it's too late. So much for protecting my privacy.

Another site said it was Magic Jack calling. I didn't answer the phone. In fact, in my county, most people ignore calls they don't know that come to their home lines. The cable company (Cox) puts the caller ID and phone number up on the TV screen in case it's on (of course) so that helps you know whose call to answer and whose to ignore. Power to the consumers!!!! I love it.
