A nice gentleman from CA called and tried to help me out of some legal trouble, but I ignored him, and now I'm writing this email from a federal penitentiary. Kidding. He called me, blah blah blah you're in trouble, call me back. This is not how federal LE let's people know they're in trouble.

Got the same exact call as Lisa on the same exact day (24 May 16). It seems these guys are busy. I feel for the people who fall for this stuff. My guy said that this was my second call and that if I don't reply soon that I would have to go to a magistrate judge or grand jury.

Man with an Indian accent left a message saying that he represented the US Treasury and to avoid trouble with a federal magistrate I needed to call him back immediately. I reported this on the IRS scam alert page.

Caller: Pete Madam? (Hard to understand his accent when he gave his name.)
