Calling almost daily IRS scam robocall , to call 209-813-4131. How is it that this phone number has not been blocked after so long, and people not arrested if in the country

Today I received an UNKNOWN call. The voice mail said it was the IRS filing a lawsuit against me. I know the IRS will not call you if you own money but will send notices in the mail. this is a scam 209-813-4131

if you owed the IRS money you would receive a series of notices (bills) then a revenue officer would contact you to collect the money. He can take actions such as seizure of property, liens on property and attaching a portion of your salary. He does not need to go to court.

This is a royal scam. But I love to call back while I'm cooking and waste their time with endless questions, wrong names, wrong phone numbers, wrong everything. The 209 number probably forwards the call to someone else. At one point I said, there is a knock at the door and could I call the guy back in a minute. I pretended to be so afraid. He wouldn't give me a call back number, so I just dropped the ruse and told him to f...k off. Playing with these people is so much fun. Just like the guys who claim they're calling from Microsoft with an urgent problem, I keep them on the line with the dumbest questions.... Sometimes I can't hold in the giggles. Thank god for the mute button. Once I had a guy on hold for a half hour while I "went to get my wallet downstairs." I forgot he was there and picked up the phone to make a call, and he was still on the line.

I came home to the same message left on my phone that it was my final warning that IRS was suing me and to call immediately to 209-813-4131. Knew it was a scam and wanted to call back and give them Hell but my husband told me not to waste the time. Instead I contacted Federal Trade Commission and filed a formal complaint.

My mom, who is 67 years old, has been receiving calls from 209-813-4131 from a guy by the name of Dennis Anderson. He threatened if my mother did not pay $2400 within 48 hrs she would be arrested and have all her property seized and her passport revolked. Thank goodness my mother didn't fall for it. She called back and the person who answered stated his name was Daniel West, but issued the same threats. DON'T GIVE THIS GUY ANY INFO OVER THE PHONE. If you owe the IRS they will contact you via mail on their letterhead.

We received the same message stating he was an officer from the IRS stating a lawsuit was being filed and this was a final notice. He stated to call 209-813-4131 to obtain more information. Message was deleted. This is not the first time this MORAN has left a message.

We got a threating recorded call from this number pretending to be the IRS. The IRS does not call you. It is a scam. The third time we have received scam call for the IRS. They have come up on caller ID as Private Caller.

My boyfriend called the number the robot recommended and has been messing with them all morning. One guy broke down and said he knows he's doing something wrong and has asked to leave before christmas. With another guy he allowed it to escalate until we were transferred to the head guy, who claims that you have to pay the fees over western union. If they're going to waste our time, why not waste theirs. The one guy was "Officer Frank Smith" badge number "IRN2034"

Received message from this number that the IRS has filed lawsuit against me. Asked what office he was from - and in his very heavy accent Stockton California - interesting- he said his name was Adam West - isn't that batman. What a scam.

Got a call from them (robo) and they left a message saying the same thing about the IRS filing a law suit against us. Yeah, I think it is a scam as well because, like others have said, the IRS would send a letter because it is more official and on record. Plus, they would not leave a robotic message.
