peter from 1-210-246-2541 to i can get free grant money coaxed me what to say to receive it , then connected to someone else who tested me on said coaxing . i played along with the scam giving them all fake information. really i was connected to a english speaking person i tried explain the scam to him and asked who connected me to him . he said the information popped up his screen and hung up. i kept these people busy for over an hour and they got nothing , but a fake address , name, birthdate ect. i had a good laugh and good time

The call is based out of India with a San Antonio area code. They pretend to be IT company who is there to help you troubleshoot your computer. Do not give them any information. They will steal your data and your money!

The call came in at 12:22 on 8/19/17 twice. I did not answer because the number is unknown.

Add this number to your blocked call list, it is a SCAM! This company called and was very aggressive would not let me speak, when asked what was the name of their company they would not give it to me. They claimed they were detecting an error with my computer and will need to do a diagnostic scan, more like a steal all your private information scan. They said they were the ones who install the Norton anti virus and they are detecting an error messages.
Do not fall for this it is a scam! Be sure to never give out personal information, always ask the name of the company, ask them to provide a call back number, also ask if they can provide your IP address. If they can not answer any of these any of these questions, hang up and block the call. Do not give them any personal information, they are crooks! Never will a computer company, Microsoft, Norton Antivirus or anyone else ever call you directly!
