They called at 5.15pm, 5.23 & 5.39. We don't pickup unidentified callers and did not leave a message. Intrusive, they need to be stopped!

With a noisy background, "Billy" got on the phone after I said "Hello?" three times. Billy wanted me to have only one personal computer on. It is unclear to me why this was requested. I pressed why it was needed for only one computer to be on. He only regurgitated his words. I said it wasn't possible and hung up.

Hi everyone, I would like to warn people about call coming from +1 210-249-0540. Yesterday, I had a call from this number but did not answer as the number was unknown to me and appeared coming from abroad. I goggled it and a lot of people yesterday have received calls from this number. People are saying that there are criminals behind this number saying to people that they are from Microsoft and have ID access to their computer and there is a virus so they can help.

I received 11 phone calls from them today. Ranging from NOVATEL to unknown caller, unknown name. Told them to not call back I would report them but they still kept calling.

caller id says "NOVATEL" - caller hung up when the call went to the answering machine - not going to bother asking callers like this to stop calling since they either hang up on you, continue calling or give your number to others without consent - reported

I live in the UK too, had two calls from this number this afternoon! It rang off 1st time I'd answered, did wonder who was calling me from TX, USA! 2nd time I'd answered it was a recorded message about PPI Insurance! Number is now block on my phone!
P.S. Google search saying it Novatel, San Antonia,TX.

Have just entered this number into Google as it has tried ringing me today and i was not happy as was asleep!!
Have read the comments and so not answering if they try to ring back. As i know no one abroad thought it best not to answer. Now i know thanks to your comments its a scam wont be answering my phone in a hurry. Thanks to everyone who has posted their comments it has helped alot.

I rang number back as it was was a strange code and my daughter is abroad it just buzzed a couple of times and went off hope I don't have a massive charge wished I had checked first!

This +1 nr has been calling me on my +44 phone number. Since i have no dealings with anyone in the US, it's got to be spam.
I even wonder if i unswered they would probably back charge me for the call... (i have heard such stories about calls from India, being charged for answering their call)

Yup, another call from this number today. Advising they were from Microsoft and wanted payment to remove viruses or else my PC would be shut down permanently. Told him I hadn't had a PC for months, caller hung up. TOTAL SCAM...!!! I hope he calls me again, I am going to put on a foreign accent and tell him I need to share millions from late aunty Doris but I don't have a bank account, but if he has one to give me those details and we will both be rich!!!
