These scammers have called me from other numbers before. I answer, and I hear some fbling around, then a bimbo says "hello? Hello? Oops, I'm sorry about that. Hi! Is this xxxx? I said yes, and then the voice says "I am calling with a great offer of-" *click* (I was pissed and hung up. They've called before, and the bimbo voice says the same thing every time. And it sounds so real. You know, the useless Congress needs to ban ANY AND ALL telemarketing. Period. The heck with the lobbyists with the DMA. Clearly, these scumbags are going to ignore the useless do not call list. So, if it is all illegal, they can just fine them outright. No needing to prove you are or are not a prior customer, on the list, etc.
