Middle eastern man called me about student loans; I called the number back to see who it was and the automated message had such a thick accent, I couldn't understand it. I'm gonna say scam because this is the third scam call I've gotten this week and they're coming from all over the country.
Had a "Jack" call from We Pay Loans saying I was approved for a loan, which I obviously never applied for. The female voice on the phone when I call back to ask them to stop calling is similiar to one for various numbers I've had call for the same thing with different company names. There tends to be an influx of calls from these places whenever I hear there has been some cyber hack on my hospital or anything like that. I talked to "Jack" and told him to remove me off his d*mn call list and he called me a b**ch.
FYI, Jack Dawson is the character from Titanic. Really??!
Just got a voice mail from jack Dawson from VA loan man with Indian accent. He said my loan was approved (which i need applied for) and all he nerd is my banking info to finish up my claim. Warning bells flash loan officer call 6 on a Saturday morning approved for loan without applying first indicators Of a scam
Hoax.
Scam targeting elderly vets. Says it was "jack dawson" from VA Loans (with Indian accent on VOIP line) and needed a little more info to finish loan. Did not ask for anyone in particular. Apparently if you answer, they ask you for a bank card of $895 to open an account to deposit the loan. 210 is San Antonio where USAA (a legit org servicing vets is.)
Had a call from Jack Dawson with Indian accent. Left me a message, said he is a Loan Officer with VA Loans telling me my loan application was approved up to $10,000 and calling to finish last part to open bank account. TOTAL SCAM!! Never applied for any loan, have no idea where he got my phone no. since it is on "No Call" list.
