Called and asked if we accepted amex , we said why ? and said he was doing a research " i said i cannnot answer that. thats all

Caller ID said Clarke Harland, person said some kind of Amex. recorded line. Then asked a question that would guarantee a "yes" response if I had answered it. Isn't that one of the scams we have been told to look out for? People recording us saying the word yes?
