Before blocking, this number called saying it was from Microsoft and my computer was sending errors. I asked which one, he said that it was my personal computer. I said that I have 7, what is the computer name and IP address, at which he said that was personal, so I asked why he was saying he was from Microsoft when he knew nothing about my computer, and he said that he could sign on to correct the errors, I said go ahead since you have to know the computer name and ip address, you need nothing from me, and he said that I needed to go to a site, and I said no, this is not Microsoft, it is an obvious scam, and hung up.
Man named Jordan with Indian accent asked for me by my first name, said he was calling from Windows EZ Services and that he wanted to help me with the errors my computer was having. I asked him if I was a customer of his company because I did not remember signing up with any company by that name for tech services, he said yes that I was; told him I would call him back, he wanted me to go to my computer so he could help me, told him I would call him back, he gave me a call back # as 210-807-4078, to ask for Jordan, he called from 210-807-4079, based in Houston, Texas, SCAM!
Hung up, called back,it is not a valid number.
Most likely a scam. The caller with a thick accent identifies himself as working for Windows, says they are receiving errors from my PC and need access to it to fix it. Sadly, people still fall for this stuff. :( Last time he called me, I kept asking him questions about how he knew which computer was mine, etc. Finally I told him I knew he was lying because I didn't have a home PC. He yelled at me and said 'why are you wasting my time?!'. LOL. I said, 'Buddy, you called ME!!!'
Told me my computer was gonna crash and if I was near the computer they cold help me fix it. It was an Indian speaking man that did call me by my full name... Just told them my computer was 8 yrs old and if it crashed I would just buy a new one and hung up.
