Same calls as everyone else. Telling me my computer alerted and was going to crash at any moment. They wanted to log in to help me fix it. I called them out as a scam then hung up.
Caller ID showed 210-807-4080 on my Cell Phone, I did not answer, just hit Ignore...besides how would they know I had a virus on my Computer and know to call me on my Cell Phone. Especially if my Computer was not on....Plus I run Norton 360, update frequently
Call is from San Antonio. I get calls from this number and 210-807-3264 stating they are Windows Support or Microsoft, and that my computer has a virus, would I let them remove it remotely. I tell them they are a scam and they hang up. Sometimes they call and say nothing. But the calls just won't stop. I did have viruses after their first call earlier this year, and have had them removed. It is always a man with an Indian accent who calls. I'm sick of them.
I let them talk as if I'm interested. When they ask me to turn on my computer is when I tell them I have an Apple Mac and I haven't used it in months. I figure, the longer I keep them on the line, the less they can bother those who don't know this is a scam.
Got a call from this number this morning 5/8/15 telling me "my computer was sending them error messages". Asked if I was at my computer, wanted me to go and log on. Caller was eastern Indian. Hung up when I called him out as a scam.
