Why isn't Google combatting these scams?

Google plus listing scam. I run an I consulting company and he identified himself as calling on behalf of Google about my Google plus account. I said "So you are being asked to call me by Google on their behalf" . He didn't answer directly responding with "We can help you with your Google Plus Account". Politley told him that this is what I do for a living and that my account is correct and that he called a number listed on the national do not call list and that this call just cost his company $500 and will cost them $500 every time he calls me again. He promptly hung up on me :)

Everytime I post on Craigs List one of thse companies calls This time it was"Tom" from the Lexington Group who said the web site affiliated with this phone number could be updated in Google and Google Plus. I told him his compny was not affilliated with Google and he told me to look it up. So I did, her on 800 notes. When I read the notes I told him that his company was owned by a [***] tard and the reviews said the employees were a bunch of [***] clowns. He hung up.

Another scammer trying to claim that they're Google. Report them.
