This caller posed as a member of tech support for "System Mechanic" ... that is the name of the software, not the company ... they said they had identified a virus had potentially entered my computer and needed access to my computer to check it out. I never had or paid for such a service, they didn't have the company name, didn't have any identifiers to prove they knew of my specific account, and their number isn't listed ... when I asked how they knew of a virus getting into my computer if they didn't already have access to my computer, all I got in response was babbling ... BEWARE! This is a scam to them to access your computer!
