Recieved 2 calls with someone (could not make out name) who threatened me with three legal charges and that he would call my place of employment and have my job. I have saved the voicemail.I have called the call back number ( the one listed here) twice and left voicemails with no response. The original call that left the voicemaik is (530) 363-9561. I have no idea who this person is or what organization he represents. I intend to notify my state's Attorney General and also find out and notify the appropriate law enforcement agency.

Called 12 times in 5 minutes.
State investigation department , filing charges on me if I don't return phone call. Thick Indian acsent.
Has a lot of personal information too.

Called me claiming they were "Investigative Department." Weeks of calls with messages left threatening that I needed to call them or else. I would call back and they never wanted to give me any information. I would ask them what the company name was, what the calls were regarding, etc. Every person I spoke to had such a strong accent that it was hard to even understand them. Every call I made to the company I was hung up on, or put on hold without warning for upwards of 30 minutes until I would hang up. When ever I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor the attendant on the call would claim that they were the manager. Funny how many managers the company has. After weeks of unwarranted calls they finally called my work claiming to be with the FBI. That was the final straw for me. My manager at work conference called them with me and was shocked with the lack of information that the company was willing to provide me with. They just wanted to collect information from me but couldn't justify their calls. At one point they even asked for my social security number. Ridiculous!!

I have called the actual FBI and they took a report on this number and verified that it is indeed a SCAM. Do not give this company any of your information, and if they are calling you I advise you to call and report them too. Call 1 (888) 225 5322 to file a report against this number if they are calling you.

got a call from PRIVATE number and sent it to voicemail. Michael Jordan from state investigation dept left message on my voicemail stating all of the things from the previous complaints about legal reprocussions etc. and said the same "God Bless" for my "legal troubles", yea right. i did not call back and dont plan on calling back. this is my first time getting a call like this. i was scared, so i googled it and now i see it is a scam!

Same story here. "Officer John Wright" and "Officer Justin Anderson" I got "badge" numbers from both of them. (Wright 6356 and Anderson 24163). Both refused to give me any information on the "case" against me. I spoke in a calm voice and they both began to scream at me (in a thick south asian accent). I informed them that NY State has no jurisdiction over my state and he proceeded to tell me he was going to come to my house to arrest me. I laughed at him and he proceeded to scream and I hung up. They call about once a day usually in the mornings.

I received several calls and voice mail messages from Officer John Wright (who had en extremely thick middle eastern accent) with the State Investigation Department and he said my SSN was being blocked and I was being sued for a loan I did not pay back. I asked him for the loan information and he would not provide it saying he was not at liberty to give me that information. Really!!!! So I started screaming at him saying my lawyers are aware of these phone calls and they are ready to fight any dispute coming my way. This is a scam artist and he tries to be very convincing. Don't send him any money.

Received several phone calls from both Officer John Wright, and an Officer Michael Jordan, saying that I took out a loan (which I did not) and threatening to call my place of employment. He told me he was going to take legal action against me, also stated he would call the state department.

Received NUMEROUS calls in one morning from "Officer Michael Jordan" (nice name) from the "State Investigation Department" calling to make me aware that they have received a legal affidavit with my name and social security number on it and to call them back ASAP. If I do not call them back he said "we have the right to call your job and inform them of your legal case and you can lose your job". Then he tells me, "best of luck" and "God Bless" against all the bad things that are coming my way. WHAT A JERK! He called my office about 8 times in a row as well, after already leaving me 3 messages on my cell and 1 message on my work phone and it's only 10:30 am!

Yeah, I had the same problem this morning. They called me and woke me up. I just started screaming at them and threatening them. It seemed to work because they stopped calling me. Make sure to remind them it's against the law to impersonate an officer of the law. Ask them for their badge ID number, and loan information.
