"Life Alert" has called our home number numerous times over the past several months. They supposedly give you the option to opt out of future calls, but that option does not work.
I have also pressed 1 to speak with a live person to be taken off the list. Each time, they are VERY rude and have hung up on me.
My suggestion is to press one, give them a bunch of false info, waste their time then tell them where to put the phone receiver. These are criminals

Here's a copy/paste of a comment that helped me to stop these calls; Not only am I getting these calls but also from 3 other phone numbers. On one of the other, I found a blog comment to call 866-246-7196 to give the caller's phone number and the receiving phone number. I gave 4 phone numbers and they verified 3 and the other was not on their list of phone numbers. They added my receiving phone number on the do not call request list and in a couple of days the 3 callers (including this one) did stop calling.
