212 662-8642 Medical Alert is a scammer …. Called at approximately 2 p.m. November 25, 2014 Looking for an activated phone and once you pick up or your voicemail does, they have you. You will get more and more calls from other scammers as they pass or sell your number. If you do not answer and disconnect your answering machine scammers will never know they reached an active number. I only answer calls when the caller ID tells me its somebody I want to talk to, either in real time or later when I check it for missed calls. I am getting less scammer calls now. But these particular scammers have been calling at least once a week for 2 years or more. Sometime it is claims "Your medical supplies are ready." How do they know they have reached the home of a senior citizen. Our doctors, dentists, hospitals, medical suppliers, the IRA, social security administration, the cable company, the telephone company, people we do business with are selling American citizens information - name, spouses name, address, telephone numbers, age.

Calls about every other week and hangs up on the answering machine if not before. This is a scam and I'm fed up.

Same as the other messages. "Seniors, your medical suplies...blah blah blah". I've blocked like 5 of these 212-662 numbers over the last 3 months. SMDH
