They left a message saying that the IRS was filing a claim against me. Got the same call yesterday and after blocking their number, they're calling with this new one.

trying to fleece personal information likely for identity fraud.

WHEN CALLING THIS NUMBER BACK IT DOESN'T EVEN EXIST!

CALLS OUR NUMBER ALL THE TIME AND THEY BETTER QUIT CALLING ASAP. WE ARE NOT STUPID AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU ANY OF OUR INFORMATION OR LET YOU HACK INTO OUR COMPUTER FROM A REMOTE LOCATION. MICROSOFT WOULD NEVER CALL US ANYWAY. DUMB AS*ES

I just got a call stating it was the IRS and I had committed some sort of tax fraud. Call immediately before they file it. Is there anything to do to make these type of call from coming to my cell.

Got a call from this number checked my voicemail and they never left one just a bull crap call that I missed. Now a blocked number

Called by business cell phone (on call line) Very noisy background, foreign accent (like from India) could barely understand the caller, something about my computer. I hung up on the caller.

IRS Scam
A voice mail left on my phone. The caller stated that "This is the IRS and the reason for this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on this dept. no., point 206-488-7843." My Caller ID read that the call was from Los Angeles, CA, phone no. 213-217-9999.

Heavy accent. Said he was from medicare. I played along. Asked me if I was on medicare, my age, and if I still had back pain. Had my address (?) and asked if I still live there. I told him I was 102, everything aches at that age, and I live in a tent & am homeless. He stayed on the line. I asked him if he needed my social, then told him "you effin' scammer, go eff yourself", and hung up...

Stating they were the IRS and I owed them money and if I didn't pay police were going to come knocking at my door. Funny thing is I have a perfect credit score and don't owe a dam cent to anyone BOOM!!!!

Verizon sells phone service to these idiots to make money but do nothing to cut their service off when you report it to them.
