Called my cell phone at 5:17 pm EST. Caller ID said it was from Los Angeles, CA. Recording stated, "Congratulations! You have been selected to win a free cruise..." Click! I hung up and marked that number to be added to my auto reject list.

Comes up saying my phone is infected that someone has put a bug on just my phone.. following me. Comes up in toolbar when I am using it!! I am limited by my technology .. Just having too hunt which is an pain. The playing. I DON'T THINK THE ODDS R FAIR AT ALL

Recorded voice asked if I can hear okay, I assumed it was trying to record a "yes" so I kept quiet. Then it launched into some bullcrap about me winning a cruise. Classic fish, no thanks. Clearly a scam, and another number to add to my block list.

I just had the same thing happen. He wanted me to connect my computer remotely to his computer. I called back and chewed him out. I asked if he was an apple representative but would only say he is a tech who supports Apple. It sounded so sketchy bc there was so much noise in the background. Any idea what he was trying to do?
