Exact same thing happened to me. Incoming call fr YAP - when i answer it sounds like it is a fax machine beeping so when i hang up and try call it back it wont go through either, no ringing, or beeping or anything.

These jackasses just called here about 10 times and I live in Vancouver, Canada. I guess they are going global in their quest to annoy people. Dicks.

This is a crimminal operation that sends spam faxes. Computer dials millions of phones listening for fax tones. No fax tone & it hangs up. Gets a fax tone & you get spam faxes. Public Flogging, it's the only answer. Plus the guys that are selling them blocks of phone time.

FAX MACHINE CALLS EVERY 45 MINUTES FROM 2132330119. CALLED THE NUMBER AND MAN SAID THEY HAVE RECEIVED CALLS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY FOR MONTHS. HE HAS CHANGED PHONE COMPANIES AND STILL THE CALLS CONTINUE TO POUR IN ABOUT FAXES FROM HIS NUMBER. HE SAYS IT IS NOT HIM, HE HAS NO FAX MACHINE AND IT IS A RESIDENTIAL NUMBER. SO HOW DO YOU MAKE IT STOP?????????:(

how do we make it stop????? faxes every 10 minutes!

We receive calls from this number at various hours but the most annoying ones are at 1 or 2:00 in the morning. It's been going on for several weeks. If we try calling back we get a busy signal. When we answer all we hear is a fax like beep. It's bordering on harrassment.
