I received a call as well and was initially stunned that they would have this much personal info and then angry knowing that this was a scam. I denied the info presented but did some research to find out exactly this person was (our group of people).

I traced the number to a company in Los Angeles called YMAX Communications Corporation, http://www.ymaxcorp.com/ Their address is not listed and I can only assume that this may be a front or an employee working there is using this number to conduct their own business. Regardless, I believe that they reached all of us through online loan applications. The loans that I applied for over the years are : Shamrock, Plain Green Loans and Fast Cash. Has anyone else applied for a loan through these companies? Please do not state your name or any personal info, just state which companies are familiar to you. If I can narrow this down I may be able to search for a connection between the loan company and YMAX.

And if anyone else has any other suggestions on putting a stop to this please let me know!

The man called my resturant and from 3pm to 8 pm he tied up all 8 phone lines for hours telling me i was a lier he wanted me to send him the paycheck of one of my employees i called the cops and they even answered the phone and told them this was harrassment he needed to stop this and he did not so for 5 hours straight my phones lines rang with this man i think someone needs to do something about this or give me his address i would be glad to meet him myself... wink wink

called at work, claimed to be a lawyer needing my social and other sensitive information. was very rude wouldnt give a name, was trying to convince me i was in legal trouble.

harrassing me over paid debt

Today i received a call from a loud, hostile sounding man with an accent. He was saying that he needed to speak with my Lawyer. He stated that there was a legal claim against me and repeated the last 4 digits of my SS#. He said that his name was Kevin Hudson and that I need to contact Michelle Brown at the Department of Legal Affairs and Investigations. When I told him that I had submitted paper work regarding identity theft and this probably had something to do with that case, he no longer wanted to speak with me. I figured then, that it was some type of scam. I tried to call the number back, but it keeps going to a voice mail account that is full.
