I got a call today from this number 213-289-3860. They said they work with or for the irs and said i had a tax evation warrent on me and if i didnt make a payment by next friday i was going to be arrested in an hour.

called saying they were gonna file a law suit on me told em shove it up their ass - MERICA

Saw the number on my caller ID on my cell phone. I answered only because I am looking for work at home jobs. When I heard the call say they were from the IRS and I needed to call the number back ASAP I got concerned but didn't return the phone call.

Just received a call from this number claiming to be IRS and their was a problem with my claim. They hung up when I told them they were trying to scam me. Why isn't our government shutting these people down?

We got a call from this # they left a message saying they were filing a lawsuit I called the # back couldn't understand the person. But it sounded like they said IRS and then he said officer so and so. I asked what is this business(foreigner answered call) and it sound like IRS and I said and what kind of business is this and he hung up

I received a call from this number i didn't answer it because i don't answer numbers that I don't know about. It left me a voice mail saying that there is a lawsuit filed against me. I decided to Google this number and found out they are a scam. Some rotten people out there be careful and safe!

They claim there from IRS and claim I did not pay taxes 5 yrs ago .. they demand money or send the police over.. I told that IRS will never call me and to Piss Off

I got a call from the above number, and I have to admit it did scare me. I thought it was because I was filing my taxes late. Even though I filed an extension. I am trying to get my school loan straightened out before I file. The IRS has taken my income tax refund for 10 years because I owe government loans. So now I will be getting my social security and wanted to get this straight. Thank God for the internet. As soon as I got home,, I googled the number. Was glad I did. Then it came up as a scam. I am glad a lot of people have comments about this number. Everyone's are great. We must put a stop to these scammers.I am seriously considering changing my number. I get too many of these calls.

I just got a call from this number. (213) 289-3860. First of all this is a California area code I don't live in California I didn't answer the call I let it go to my voice mail and the message was a recording saying this was the IRS and that there's a lawsuit filed against me. And I was to call back to get a case number I didn't call back I don't owe the IRS anything and the IRS would send a letter first stating that I owed and the amount owed. This is a scam call, do not respond, call your local IRS office if you have questions about how they work or how they contact people.

I recieved a phone call called it back. Gave me crap about owing money. I will call them back and tell them to send a agent to my home and i will pay them. When and if someone comes to my home I will call the police and tell them to bring a body bag!

I let the call from this number go to voice mail because I did not know the number or anyone in California. The message left was that I need to call them back at that number because they are filling a law suit against me. Call back for case file number and more information to resolve.
This is Crap. The government should be able to find these people and put them in jail. If I was not of sound mind and didn't know the difference in a scam and the real IRS. I would have called these criminals back. !! OBAMA..........DO SOMETHING FOR A CHANGE OR GET THE HELL OUT!

Just got a call from these people with a recorded message to return call from IRS. I returned the call and spoke to a person with a very white name but very Indian/Paki accent. He had a case number and ID number. He was threatening me with arrest for 5 years of tax evasion if I did not resolve the matter out of court. I supposedly under reported my taxable income. That was a big red flag that screamed fraud because I know that is a lie. The procedure to resolve the matter kept changing. He demanded a $500 good faith payment over the phone for him to send an IRS officer not agent to my home to discuss 5 years of audits, and stop a warrant for my arrest otherwise they will be arresting me soon. I can also make an additional payment to the officer in person when he arrives. I told him I was not sure this was the IRS because it made no sense they would just now contact me in 2016 for that many years of discrepancy. He couldn't tell me when this was started all my questions had to go through the officer who would show up at my home. Then he got hostile when I exspressed doubt and told me to hang up and refused to let me speak to a supervisor. None if what he said made any sense.

They need to go to jail. They need to be caught by the FBI or at least Paul Blart the mall cop bc this is bullshit. They have my name, address, and God knows what else. This is illegal and immoral but the messed up thing is that they won't get caught or in trouble bc what the government does is illegal and immoral, they do the same thing, right? BULLSHIT!!!
