A call from the number was received at 7:36 PM CT. The caller ID showed "Unknown name". I didn't answer it.

A reverse call look-up for the number showed: NANPA: Assigned 2008-12-18 Lsan Da 01, California (Peerless Network OF California, LLC - CA)

I got an automated call from 213-289-9006 and don’t really care who they are and wouldn’t do business with them regardless for 2 reasons: 1) we’re on the Do Not Call List & they’ve ignored that (which tells me they are engaged in illegal activity) and 2) they used a robo call and we will not do business with them because of that. All robo calls should be banned! Whenever I get a robo call from a political candidate I contact their office to tell them I will not be voting for them regardless of who they are or what they stand for. Then, I vote for one of the candidates who hasn’t used a robo caller on me. Don’t do business with anyone calling from 213-289-9006 ever!
** Please, senior citizens (who supposedly stay on the line out of loneliness or inappropriate guilt at the thought of hanging up) find something else to do & hang up when you hear a robo caller! They wouldn’t be bothering all of us if SOMEONE didn’t OCCASIONALLY stay on the line to get scammed!
