The caller id said "unknown caller." When I answered he claimed he was calling about service needed on windows (not clear if computer or literally cleaning windows though I think he was talking about Microsoft Windows), and an upgrade. The initial message sounded as if I had a preexiting relationship and that he was calling to tell me about the upgrade I needed for my Windows Live.

After a short time of him telling me about services I do not have or want but acting like I already am part of it, I asked him for company name, address, and phone #. He hesitated when I asked, and did not immediately respond.

He claimed his name is Richard Smith, phone # 213-455-3318 and the company is called 24-7. I asked for address again, and he said hold I am getting it, then after being on the phone for some time it went to a dialtone, indicating he hung up. It sounded like a scam and he sounded nervous as soon as I started saying do not call me and asking for details.
