I didn't answer this call and they didn't leave a message, looked up number and it says Gateway Tech in Texas. Nobody here has any outstanding student loans. Received a call from a New York number last week, which I did answer because my son happened to be up there for a few days. It sounded like a prerecorded message but it cut off half way through. That number has also been reported as a student loan spam call.

it must be just a scam....First of all I am in Canada, second of all, I have Called about delinquent student loan. I have never had a student loan, nor has anyone in my household, and nobody has ever gone to school in the USA.....They do sound very convincing for someone who doesn't know better. Very similar to another call I received saying they were from Canada Revenue Services advising that I needed to make payment on my outstanding taxes immediately or they would be forced to foreclose on my home. of course.....this too is a scam call.

I have rehabilitated my old student loan. Not once have I been late or nissed avpayment in the past two years yet they call and call and call wanting more money every 30 days than I even earn in a month. I even have a signed contract and agreement for my payments but they continue to harass me at least five times per week. Calls as early as 7:15am and as late as 10:30pm!! They even admit the phone calls are in error but thr calls keep coming in. How on earth can I stop this madness?!??!!!

Called about student loan debt. Won't listen when I tell them that I do not, nor have I ever had a student loan. Could be a scam.

Called my son's cell phone while he was at HIGH SCHOOL!! Obviously, he didn't answer (I have taught him not to answer any numbers he doesn't know).

Called my cell phone and demanded my last four digits of my ssn. Immediately said this call was being recorded. Would not provide a name or company until I told him my SSN. What good is the "Do not call" list? My cell phone number is on the "Do not call" for several years now. No caller ID, just the phone number 214-414-2855.
I thought every call had to provide a CALLER ID for identification. The only message on my phone is "Not available".
