Scammer. Has thick accent, blocked caller ID, calling from out of state, and didn't know the name of our business. All hallmarks of a scammer. Googled his number online and it's involved with a huge number of scams, such as the "I'm calling from Microsoft and you have a virus on your computer" scam.

Spam / Phishing. Claims to be from Microsoft or a Microsoft technician and that they have been receiving "error messages" from your computer.

Gentleman called claiming to be from the "US Treasury" offering me a $7000 grant. He confirmed my name and address. He asked me to confirm that my address was correct but all I would say is that that is what the records show." He told me that he wasn't playing games and I never insinuated that he was. He then hung up on me.

Total Scam, Microsoft would never call you to fix an issue

This number just called me. Caller ID came up as "Phillips". The guy on the phone had an Indian accent. He was calling to tell me that there was a problem with my computer and wanted to guide me on how to fix it. I spoke with him a few minutes and confronted him about what company he was working for, how he got me information and told him that we are on the "Do Not Call" list. I asked where he was calling from and he said "calling from New Jersey, ma'am, not India". (I hadn't said anything about India) I asked who he was trying to reach and eventhough he read me the correct phone number, the name and address he stated were not correct. Then he said that he must have made a mistake.

Caller, Sean Davis, left a message stating that my loan was approved. He claimed to be from a direct deposit loan company. He also congratulated me on my move. He left a phone number, 850-308-5310.

He tried to get me to download a thing from www.teamviewer.com that would let him control my computer. He said my computer was fixing to crash from the amount of viruses on it and we needed to clear them immediately. the first number that called me was Louis 2103195026 and when I hung up the "supervisor" called me on the 214 number. It wasn't the supervisor, it was the same guy.
