The rep said a social security number and bank account information and asked me to verify it first. I would not. He then mentioned the names of relatives that I used as references. At no time have I ever used relatives as references and would not do so.

The company is called Cornerstone Mediation and is just a slum agency trying to collect a debt whether its yours or not.

They use a CRM to track how many times they call you so they can keep a record to try and keep it on your credit report: This is what is currently available:

You'll notice that the carrier is Proximity 2 used by debt companies to hide their actual whereabouts. Don't stress these guys. Ask for all of the following information.

They keep calling and I have asked them to stop four times already. The guy wouldn't tell me who they are even looking for. I got mad and called them back and went off on the guy telling him I have told the ppl there to stop. Well, they continue every day and in the morning. Also trying on different numbers. I know it's the same ppl though the numbers are all really similar and they have left messages in the past on voice mail. All these numbers that keep calling after I asked not to, it's harassment. And here they are. 214-446-4729, 214-307-6945, 214-254-4529 and this one which is different but it's the same ppl. 844-414-4868. They are calling my cell phone too, which is a prepaid. I would like if these ppl went down for trying to scam others, they try and tell you about something you owe on or going to be in trouble for something but they can't tell you who they're calling. So be careful and don' t give any information to someone that can't give you your name. Don't tell them who you are. Give them nothing. Try getting these A holes.
