What is strange is that our national government has chosen to not fix the problem. The failure suggests a notable intensity of incompetence in the federal agencies who should long since solved this problem. Vote for new leadership.

"Consumer Advocate" 214-974-9635. My mom get's these calls multiple times each day, so one day while visiting I decided to answer and play along. When I got an actual human on the line and attempted to start a dialogue, they hung up immediately. I've done this twice and the calls persist. Something about lowering your interest rate on your mortgage or something to that effect. It's all a scam and extremely annoying.

card services--9 calls thus far this month (10/15). Too bad our worthless DO NOT CALL LIST govt can't find & shut these operations down with a BIG FINE as well. Request to be removed is a joke :-(about the same every month). Everyone should start a dialog to keep the caller occupied with bogus info. The longer the call, the greater the negative impact. Time is money. When the boiler room operator and their employees aren't making money (or as much) do to lost productivity--maybe things will change. Time to piss them off--turn about is fair play!!

the "push 3 to stop receiving calls" does not work. They know it doesn't work, I've told them so before but they keep calling. someone needs to sue these people.

These calls were getting so annoying I decided to put some effort into figuring out how to get rid of these calls. I found a service at 866-246-7196 that all you have to do is give the caller's and receiving phone numbers. They verify if the caller's phone number is a part of their service and add the receiving phone number to the do not call list. Allow 1-2 business days to process and then the calls stopped for me.

Folks, I owe you an apology. With my post of July 1st I'm really trying to trick you. If you're naïve enough to actually call the 866 number I gave in my post (July 1st), you're not submitting a "Do Not Call" request, you're creating an "add me to your spam calls list". YOU'RE actually aiding the SPAMMER which creates an instant "business relationship" allowing the spammers to call you! I sincerely apologize for insulting your intelligence and trying to trick you into receiving more spam calls. I am putting this same message on other "Who Called Me" type web sites under different names and always only for the "lower your credit card rate" phone number (so you can guess who I work for, he, he). God, please forgive my wicked soul! P.S. when I'm the first poster under a new offending telephone number you know you we'll be starting a new robo call campaign with that number so you can block that number immediately without bothering to wait for it to call you first!

The reply was sarcastic so I didn't regard the comment. Instead I did call 866-246-7196 and it DID work to stop the phone calls. Hmmm, the question really is why would someone want to post something untrue to stop people to requesting do not call.....

I get robo calls from "card services or card holder services a lot, you probably get a lot of complaints about them. I've tried to get them to stop calling for 5 or more years.

Came home to my wife holding the phone in disbelief. Receive several calls a day from all over "this is your last chance to lower your interest rates" blah blah. She pressed one to get a live person. When she told him to remove the phone number from their database, he started screaming and cussing at her, telling her he didn't have a fu**ing database, calling her a wh**e and other names. She wanted a number and a supervisor. He told her he wanted her p**sy. He put her on hold for a minute then came back on as a supervisor !! When she called his bluff, he started cussing her again, told her he still wanted her p**sy, and hung up. Can't wait till these assholes call again and I get it.

I had something very similar happen. I very nicely asked to be removed from their call list and the caller asked if I wanted to [sic] perform fellatio on his sizable penis. I was in disbelief. I said, "I'm a mother. Why would you speak to me like this?" He then apologized but laughed and called me a bi*** and hung up. How do you stop getting calls from this place?! It's daily now.
