What is strange is that our national government has chosen to not fix the problem. The failure suggests a notable intensity of incompetence in the federal agencies who should long since solved this problem. Vote for new leadership.
"Consumer Advocate" 214-974-9635. My mom get's these calls multiple times each day, so one day while visiting I decided to answer and play along. When I got an actual human on the line and attempted to start a dialogue, they hung up immediately. I've done this twice and the calls persist. Something about lowering your interest rate on your mortgage or something to that effect. It's all a scam and extremely annoying.
SCAM for reduction of credit card interest rates. Totally bogus and illegal practice. No guarantee except to take your money!
card services--9 calls thus far this month (10/15). Too bad our worthless DO NOT CALL LIST govt can't find & shut these operations down with a BIG FINE as well. Request to be removed is a joke :-(about the same every month). Everyone should start a dialog to keep the caller occupied with bogus info. The longer the call, the greater the negative impact. Time is money. When the boiler room operator and their employees aren't making money (or as much) do to lost productivity--maybe things will change. Time to piss them off--turn about is fair play!!
