Don't pick up. If you get one of these robos, always say "no" or "it's me" to protect yourself from voice phishing scam calls trying to record you saying "yes".

A woman called and kept repeating my first name. When I told her I was Carolyn, she continued to repeat my name. When I asked her who she was, she hung up.

Very cleverly done robo call that uses your name when you answer. The recording is fri ndly and chatty and sounds real, but the real intent is to get you to send money. I do not hunk the big phone companies could stop this annoying activity but they don't want to be bothered and ther is no law that will make them do it, unfortunately.

I got the call today on the 215-383-0832. I picked it up but usually I don't if I don't recognize the number. She said she was some cancer group. Extremely pushy. I asked how she got my number. All she could say is she got the this. Of course I would not give her any more info. Though she did ask for "my first name" was there. So she had the name.

This is the 3rd call from this caller: Women's Cancer
From two different numbers and area codes: Jan. 23, 2017 at 8:37 AM and 1:04 PM.
Does not leave message on answering machine.
Now again, this morning, Jan. 24, 2017, 9:54 AM, once again, did not leave message.
Using numbers: 412-385-2368 & 215-383-0832. Both from Pennsylvania. Have NO reason, for them to be calling me. Never been to Pittsburgh, PA. or this other location in Central Pennsylvania.
