Called twice and left voice message for me and my wife. Identified himself as Officer Jason Smith and said he had criminal case against us and we needed to return his call. If we did not return his call he will be starting criminal proceedings against us. Thanks to this website we know this is a scam.. Doing our own due diligence to put our information here so that other potential victims such as ourselves can be saved...Thanks for running this invaluable service..

Same crap just happened to me, they called my dad and said I was in a lot of trouble and if a did not call back they would ome get me from home. When I called the supposed Sheriff had an indian accent, when I confronted him about his address he hang up.
Something needs be done about these criminals.

The same "Joan Wright" called and left a message on my voice mail. Wish these crooks knew that I am a law student. However, the FCC does not make reporting this easy - their new website is notoriously difficult. I wish someone at the FCC were looking at this and that they would take action against these cheats. Perhaps, there is potential for a law firm to file a class action suit against these crooks to try and recover money from them, though I am not sure how much they would be able to recover.

Yesterday, I received calls from two people- Ron Davis & Allen Parish, from 215-809-1477 number

saying that he is from the State Investigation Department/ National Bureau of Crime Investigation. He said that I was

under violation and an arrest warrant was ready to be issued on me for three counts of violation- fraud and tax fraud. He said that if I could make the payment, I would be able to avoid the arrest and settle the matter out of court.
I was in a panic and was ready to make the payment. He then guided me on how to make the payment as it was late afternoon and the banks were closed. He asked me to go to a nearest Walmart or CVS and purchase a Green Dot MoneyPak card for $500.00. The he took the card details and put me on hold for the confirmation number. I waited for 30 minutes and then realized that this is some sort of fraud. I even called the number back to check and no one answered. I was now sure that its a spam call and I was a victim.
Today again, Allen Parish called from the same number and asked for another payment of $422.
Causing panic and anxiety in people and threatning them for money is a serious issue. This is harrasment at an extreme level and severe action should be taken against such people.

215.809.1477 called my house asking for mom and telling me she was in a lot of trouble and they were the IRS. They threatened my mother telling her she had a case against her and she was going to jail and they were coming for her. They had the address of our house and wanted $500+ in cash but then settled for wanting my mom to go to Wal-Mart and purchase a green card and to provide them with the #. They called our house several times yelling and screaming. My mom asked if they were Indian by their accent and they yelled back saying “Are you questioning our faith?” We had a police officer call them back and they didn’t provide their name and hung up. I believe this is internet phone # and they are calling from a different location. I’m in shock that this has happened to several people and this # has not gotten shut down. What action can the police take to get these guys? My mom was taken to the hospital due to having a severe heart condition tonight with them yelling at her for more than an hour. I’m scared with them having my house address.

Please report it to FTC and local police department this guys need to be tracked and blocked. Threating language don't be scared cross-question them give fake things if you want to get more info from them.

A man with a very thick accent called me from this number (215-809-1477) and left a voice mail. He identified himself as John Wright from the "STATE Investigations Department." In a very excited tone of voice, he proclaimed I had three FEDERAL charges against me and that I better call back or else I would be in big trouble. Yes, he actually said "big trouble." This is clearly a scam. The feds do not send a state officer after you via a phone call. This is simply not how they (or anyone else) provide(s) someone with legal notice that they are being sued or under arrest. It would have to be handled via certified mail or in person (the latter would involve a written summons and a written complaint). A man with a thick accent left an excited voice mail identifying himself as "John Wright" from the "State Investigations Department" He said I had three federal charges against me, and that I better call back or else I was in big trouble. Note that the number the caller left on my voice mail differs by a few digits from the number that appeared on my caller ID.

This guy is offc ron davis from state dept of (b.s.) totally fake call stating social security identity theft DO NOT give any information out and when I called him out FAKE he cursed me out so there you go

Called ask for the wrong person when told they had wrong person and to please not call anymore. I was told to go get screwed...they need to be closed down.
