Cardmember Services. They use a variety of numbers/area codes. I get 2-3 calls per day.

I have received more than 450 "lower your credit card interest rate" calls on my unlisted - Do Not Call registered cell phone. They are now calling 4 to 5 times per day. These calls have been increasing ever since the FCC has taken action against the 7 robocall spammers.
Slapping them with a fine that they do not have to pay isn't going to deter them at all. You need to go after them in CRIMINAL court for the advance fee fraud and the identity theft.

Recorded call stating they were a Cardholder Service wanting to lower my interest rate. I have no credit cards so I did as they said & pressed #1 to speak to a rep. The rep. came on the line and I asked for the company name and he hung up on me.

Only that they could lower my credit card rates, and this was the final notice. This has been going on for months. I have pressed the designated button to be removed, they still called. I have pressed the designated button to talk to representative to verbally ask to be removed, they hang up on me. I call the number back..receive a recording this number has been disconnected (everytime). Today I once again as the representative to please not hang up on me, and the gentleman hangs up. I call back and once again number is disconnected.
