I got 5 calls today, I never answered. After reading what you guys put in I will never answer in the future.
Called twice on Thursday and call was abandoned upon as soon as the phone was answered. Called 5 times today (Friday) and call was abandoned each time my wireless phone was answered. I called them back immediately after their call at 3:34 PM and they thanked me for phoning them back and asked for "Bob or Dave" but didn't know my name is Raymond. I informed them that they were calling a cell phone and no one by the name of Bob or Dave lives here. I told them to stop calling. They called again at 4:50 PM and abandoned that call as well when I answered the phone. I immediately called them back and they thank me for returning the call and asked for my name. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they put a supervisor on the line. I let him know that I had requested them to stop calling following their phone call at 3:34 PM and was once again making a request that they stop calling my number. I will file a complaint with the FCC on Monday for the "abandoned" calls 5 of 5.
called me the as I picked up I could hear the phone ring, an automated response told me thanks for calling your call is important to us,please hold till an agent can talk to you
Received 2 calls on my cell phone within an hour of each other - left on my caller id. I called back and had a preliminary wait with music and a rep answered - said my name even though I did not say anything yet - I immediately asked how they got my number - they said they were some of education entity and that they obtained my info from an online database and then the fellow asked if I wanted to be on the no call list - I said yes and hung up. I have filed a formal complaint with the FCC and see that others have been getting similar types of calls for years.
called over 20 times to hang up or say nothing
