Called wanted access to my computer

Caller with Indian or middle eastern accent insisted that my computer was being attacked and he must help. He told me he was with some anti-virus outfit. I received several call like this about 6 months ago with the same story. Finally I went along with the guy to where he wanted my IP address to take over the operation (at the time the computer was not even on). Finally we got into an argument with him telling me I would be very sorry about not letting him help me. He finally hung up. These guys are scammers for sure. I called back 216-895-2575 - "call cannot be completed as dialed". Never fall for this crap.

PEOPLE.....This has NOTHING to do with your warranty or anything else. These are CROOKS trying to get your information to STEAL YOUR MONEY. They are NOT located in America, they use 'masked' telephone numbers, they are located over-seas. WE are on a call list that is sold to other criminals that call with various SCAMS ie credit card debt, insurance, computer issues etc. Just hang-up and add the nimber to your block list.
