There is a reported upon by Cleveland media Scam going around the Cleveland area. This is NOT simple, annoying spam calls.

This number came up as "UNSAFE NUMBER" on my Caller ID with a female robo voice leaving on my voice mail "Are you 28 (yrs)? Do you have credit and/or credit cards?" The robo voice is the same as the robo voice that says "she" is "Emily" in the same Scam.

According to Cleveland media reports these people have an "amazing" offer for the call recipient tho there really is NO offer. They then get you to talk to a live person who tries to talk the call recipient into giving him/her one's credit or debit card numbers. Once one is talked into paying a small "processing fee" and the person has the credit or debit card... before the call ends, the credit card is maxed out or your bank account is emptied. The criminals then have the call recipient's personal identity, financial information AND their money.
The Cleveland BBB states if one is given something "free", there are no strings or processing fees attached. Not much in life is free.
The Ohio Atty General's office says this Scam is gping around on so many different numbers at a high frequency that it has been hard for the state to catch these people.
