they called today...early in the morning and woke me up. I answered and gave them the silent treatment. A woman knew my, and my wife's name. Hung up and call blocked them.
They call constantly and disconnect when the call is answered! When you call back, you get a recording to leave a message! This is an organization of telemarketing PESTS! Because of this, do not give them a dime!
Caller: CHILDRENS CHANCE
asked for me by name, then total silence for a minute or so til I hung up. Scam. Calls me several times a day. 217-280-4885. Sad that poor children with cancer are getting their donations diverted by these scammers.
scammer start off with saying " you're harder to get a hold of". Maybe they do give portion to charity, just enough to keep the Feds off their back. Don't fall for their scam..
bogus charity soliciting funds even after I have repeatedly told them to never call me again.
