Called me and left the same robo message! Annoying.

Is a scam - robo caller (there is no legal action being filed against you)

VM they left on the machine:
"This message is intended for (Your Name). I received an order in my office today to complete an order of process for several pending matters that you are currently being investigated for I will be verifying your current address today and your place of employment in the meantime it is your responsibility and legal right to contact your plane is prior to being served their number is area code 20135 or 6105 make reference to case number." - (Note: sometimes they say prosecution so they reword there robo call message)

Debt collectors and or collection agencies must identify who they are when they leave a VM, and are not allowed to use scare tactics such as false legal actions against you or legal intimidation scams. (The FDCPA (15 U.S.C. §§ 1692 to 1692p) requires that a collection agency make certain disclosures and prohibits the collector from engaging in many kinds of abusive or deceptive behavior.)

Note:
If you were being sued or summed to court legally you would be served by your local sheriff and or through certified mail. You would have to sign for your mail either way if it comes in the mail. (lawyers want to catch you off guard so you don't run, and signing for your certified mail lets them know you have been served and are aware you have been summoned to court and or sued (this is considered a valid record or time stamp once you have signed for your mail).

If you fail to show up to court when summoned a bench warrant is then issued for your arrest for failure to show up and or appear i court. Please remember if you do not show up to court to defend yourself that is the same as admitting your guilt and will work against you if you later on try fighting it any further.
