Been getting a TON of calls just like this one. The phone number is always different and I've been re-dialed to remove the number (in which a recording says to press 9 to do that) and connected to a real person to do the same, in which they simply hung up on me without even acknowledging what I said. Sometimes it doesn't even connect to the number, but like I said I've told attempted to remove at least 3 times now. And yes I'm on the Do Not Call list and just reported the latest number to them with all details. As others said its b.s. related to warranties. Here's a fun fact: I Do Not Even Own a Car!!! How's that for telling you its a scam.
