They called my friend as well. He was really upset and worried. They said they had an arrest warrant for him, and he didn't know why. When he asked what this was all about the person said " I will call you back in 20 minutes " .. of course they never called back.. Grrr... why do people find joy in scamming people.

These people left a similar voice message on my Government of Canada phone. The scam is pretty silly - the idea that Revenue Canada would phone me at work and threaten to have me arrested is beyond stupid. I honestly hope nobody falls for these things.

Called them back after hearing their stupid voice message about it being je CRA and there will be an arrest if I don’t deal with some issue. When I called back some guy answered, he asked for my name and I gave him a fake one lol. He said let me find you and came back and said he had a file. Lol what an idiot. I asked if it was the CRA calling and he said yes it was a division of the CRA and I said oh then you’re a government employee then. Then he hangs up haha

I was called me as well, with an automated voice said that if I did not call them back they would issue an arrest warrant.
Total spam and stupid. CRA would not call with automated message,
but a live person and would identify thierselves.

this is a total scam...I knew it was and called them back several times to harass them and then they blocked my number...total scam artists and I saw on TV that some poor person actually fell for it!!

Left a voicemail saying the exact same thing. It's an automated computerized voice. Yeah right, won't fall for that stupidity.
