credit card, calls fr many #s.

This time it's Leah..... Rachel must have been fired. ;-)

I was told that I just got lower interests rates on Credit Card, press 1 to talk to someone and press 2 to be removed from list. I asked to speak to a supervisor, they hung up. I contacted my internet provider about it. I am on a Federal and State Do Not Call List. How are they getting our numbers

I was asked if I pressed one to speak with someone about my credit card. When I said yes, I pressed one, to find out why they are calling me when I'm on the Federal Do Not Call Registry, she asked me if I'd paid to put my name on that list, and when I told her NO, that's a free registry, she tried to tell me that the only way I'm on the do not call list is if I pay. I explained to her that I am not that stupid, and that the federal registry IS FREE, and that I'm a business major. She told me point blank to "get off your ass and go get a job!" As if I don't work. She called MY cell phone, so who was she to say I was at home on my butt, or that I don't have a job. I then told her that I own my own business, so I don't need to "get off my ass" for anything. She was absolutely RUDE and disgusting, and I wish there was a way to track her down and have her butt thrown in prison.

The agent was honest enough to reveal there is no way to stop receiving calls and to report them to my state attorney general.
